On the morning we all learnt about the death of Steve Jobs I decided it was time to pay for and download this titel that had been in my wish list for some time.

The author is the former senior vice president of Apple, Jay Elliot who was responsible for corporate operations and overall business planning and reported directly to Steve Jobs during Apple’s original boom.

In my opinion this seems to be an honest and accurate picture of Steve Jobs. I find myself both fascinated and scared about his obsession with details. I could never picture myself meddling with staff and projects in that way – maybe that is why I am not as successful?

This is a very interesting book about a very interesting person. There is now a new (much much longer) book published and I just downloaded it. Review to come.
